This Privacy Policy applies to the Lexiro mobile application
("Application"), developed by the Lexiro Team. By using the Application,

Your Conversations Are Private: We take your data seriously.
Your AI chat messages and roleplay conversations are:

- Never sold to third parties
- Never shared publicly without your explicit permission
- Used only for generating language feedback within the app
- Deletable at any time through the app settings
- Stored securely with industry-standard encryption
AI Message Processing
How We Process Your Chat Messages:

Storage: Messages are processed to generate feedback and are not permanently retained on our servers beyond what is needed for your session history.

AI Processing
How AI Uses Your Content: When you use the Chat or Roleplay features:
- Your messages are sent securely to our AI servers for processing
- The AI generates grammar corrections, phrasing alternatives, and conversational replies based on your input
- Processed data may be used in anonymized, aggregated form to improve our language models
- We do not use your messages to identify you personally or link them to other services
- All AI processing is encrypted and performed on secure infrastructure
Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services to help operate and improve the application.
These services may have access to anonymized or aggregated data only.
The Application uses the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat (for subscription management)
- Apple Analytics / Firebase (for app performance monitoring)

- AI Processing Services (for language feedback and roleplay — all data is encrypted during processing)
- Cloud Storage Services (for vocabulary and progress backup and sync)
Data Storage and Security
Local & Cloud Storage
- Your vocabulary list, flashcard progress, and learning history are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to the cloud for backup.
- If you use device backup features (e.g., iCloud or Google Drive), your data may be included in your personal cloud backup.
- We do not sell your conversation data, vocabulary lists, or personal information to third parties.
- All data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard protocols (TLS 1.3).
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized
access, alteration, or destruction. This includes encryption, secure servers,
access controls, and regular security audits. However, no method of
transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
Opt-Out Rights
You may stop data collection at any time by:
- Uninstalling the application from your device
- Requesting account and data deletion via support (email below)
- Disabling analytics in the app settings
- Deleting individual conversations or your entire learning history within the app
- Clearing your local cache through app settings
Data Retention
We retain user data as long as you use the app and maintain an active account.
If you delete the app, local data is removed from your device. You can request
complete deletion of any cloud-synced data by contacting support. Vocabulary
lists, flashcard progress, and conversation history remain stored until you
explicitly delete them or request account deletion. Subscription data is
retained by the App Store provider for billing history in accordance with
their policies.
Age Restrictions
Age Requirement: This app is available to users of all ages.
However, users under 13 must have parental consent. We do not knowingly
collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 without
parental permission. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with
personal information without consent, please contact us immediately and we
will take steps to delete such information.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access to your personal data, conversation history, and vocabulary progress
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data (including all conversations and learning history)
- Objection to data processing
- Data portability (export your vocabulary list and progress)
- Restriction of processing
- Withdrawal of consent for AI message processing

International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your
own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in
accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in
our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page
with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy
periodically. For significant changes affecting your conversation data or
personal information, we will notify you through the app or via email.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California
Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal
information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the
right to opt-out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal
information.
