How does the AI Chat work?
Lexiro uses advanced AI to have natural English conversations with you. As you chat, the AI gently corrects your grammar and phrasing — for example, if you write "No, this is my first time I came here," Lexiro will suggest the more natural phrasing. It's like having a patient English-speaking friend available 24/7.
What is the Roleplay feature?
Roleplay lets you step into real-world English scenarios — a job interview, ordering at a restaurant, a doctor's visit, a business meeting, a phone call, airport check-in, and more. You play yourself and the AI plays a realistic character. It's the best way to practice English you'll actually use in daily life.
How does the Vocabulary feature work?
The Vocabulary tab shows your Word of the Day with phonetics, definition, part of speech, and an example sentence. You can browse your full saved word list, filter by mastery level (New, Learning, Familiar, Mastered), and add new words using the + button. Tap any word to see its full details including synonyms, study stats, and next review date.
How do Flashcards work?
Flashcards use spaced repetition to help you remember vocabulary at exactly the right time. Each card shows the definition of a word and a fill-in-the-blank example sentence — tap to reveal the answer. Toggle between "My List" (your saved words) and "Random" mode for variety. The app tracks your review schedule automatically.
What are Daily Quests?
Daily Quests are small learning challenges that reward you with gems for staying consistent. Examples include "First Step" (send your first message today, +5 💎), "Card Master" (review 5 flashcards, +10 💎), and "Word Collector" (add a new word to your list, +8 💎). Completing quests also builds your daily streak.
Are my conversations stored? Who can see them?
Your conversations are encrypted in transit and processed securely. They are never shared with third parties or displayed publicly. You can delete individual conversations or your entire chat history at any time from within the app settings. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Lexiro → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you'll retain access until then.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google depending on your platform. Contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play Support for refund requests. We're happy to help you navigate the process — just email us at mallik.puranjan@gmail.com.
Why is the AI giving me unexpected corrections?
AI feedback is sensitive to context and phrasing. If a correction doesn't seem right, try rephrasing your sentence or providing more context in the conversation. Our AI is continuously improving. The app is crashing or not working. What do I do?
First, try closing and restarting the app. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (your vocabulary and progress will be restored from your account). How do I delete my account and data?
You can request full account and data deletion by emailing mallik.puranjan@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request - Lexiro". Please include your account email. We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm when complete.
How do I add words to My Vocabulary List?
Tap the + button on the Vocabulary screen to add a new word. You can also save words directly from flashcard sessions or the Word of the Day card. Once saved, the word appears in your list with its definition, phonetics, synonyms, and study stats. Your next review date is tracked automatically.
